Unhealthy Songbook

I have a new album coming out called Unhealthy Songbook which will be available from Cheap Wine Records from Sunday the 17th of March.  I've released a lot of albums but this one will be my longest so far with twenty songs.   I'll be selling it throughout the year at gigs.

I've started this year busy recording and playing gigs.  I had a great time playing at the Vagabond Social Club in Glasgow in January and i was on Celtic Music Radio for the Celtic Connections in February and i also played the blues night in Slouch. 


I will have more gig dates to post very soon so keep a look out!

There has been a new blog set up for all the music of the Nelson's, me my brother JB, Longshot and the music on Cheap Wine Records!   www.sawneybeanyoungteam.tumblr.com  head over and give it a wee look.  Cheap Wine Records is becoming very popular and there are some great albums planned for release this year.   

I have also recently released a Split Single with my favourite Glasgow band The Reverse Cowgirls.  My song The Rats Are Coming In features American musician Carmen Lee on vocals and piano.  This song will be on the new album Unhealthy Songbook but you can download the Split Single now for FREE on Cheap Wine Records.  It's turned out great and check out the amazing artwork done by Katharine Cameron!!
